Job Description
This job is a construction trade job incumbent on job-site availability and is not a guarantee of specified hours, but generally will be between the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
The Cabling Apprentice is to assist the LV Techs with LV Cabling installation jobs that range from small renovation/additional installations to large new construction installations.
Qualifications
Abilities Required:
- Familiarity with basic tools such as pliers, hammer, and drill.
- Comfortable performing tasks on ladders, high platforms, or tight spaces in a safe manner.
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Help maintain a safety conscience work environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and Transportation to work (either PCI Shop or job site).
Preferred Additional Abilities:
- Experience in construction.
- Familiarity with computer and network hardware or electronics.
- Experience in Electrical Trade.
Job Responsibilities
Assist lead tech in data/voice/fiber optic/ security camera cabling and installation of supporting components that make up a network infrastruture. Use of ladders and telecom tools will be required.
Salary/Pay
Based upon Experience.
Can be part-time.
