This course offers a survey of various mathematical topics for the non-math/science major. In addition to the study of the mathematical topics, the skills will be studied with an emphasis on real-world application spanning many disciplines to support the concept that math impacts much of our everyday lives. Topics may include algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, the real number system, and logic. Prerequisite(s): Meet placement guidelines.
