Your adventure begins here!

Starting August 21th, MATC and the Adult Learning Center have joined together to offer students quality GED and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction on the MATC Campus! This is exciting news as students will have access to resources across campus all while working on their GED or English language skills.

We want to make sure your experience with our program is positive and simple.  GED 101, 201 and ESL 101, 201, 301 are Monday-Thursday 9AM-12PM and ESL 401 will be offered 1PM-4PM. Our first orientation is August 21th for GED and August 22-23th for ESL. We have orientations the first Tuesday-Thursday of each month this semester! For GED students this is a 1-day orientation and for ESL students this is a 2-day orientation that will help you become familiar with our facility, our instructors, and Manhattan Tech.

Speaking of simple, our admissions process is no exception.  To get started, simply fill out our online application and we'll contact you confirming your orientation date(s). During orientation, you'll need to complete a short enrollment packet, take an academic assessment, and pay a materials fee of $60*.

If you have any questions please reach out to or 785-320-4583.

We look forward to becoming a part of your success!
