Campus Operations

The Riley County Health Department (RCHD) and Governor Laura Kelly issued Stay-At-Home Orders to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Effective at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 29, Manhattan Area Technical College will be adhering to the emergency guidelines in keeping with the issued orders:

  • The Campus is closed until further notice and instruction will be completed online beginning March 30 until further notice. Please watch your email for information from your instructors regarding delivery of your coursework.
  • Beginning March 30 college employees will work remotely. During the closure employees working remotely will have limited access to return calls. We encourage you to refer to our website for our online directory as email will be the best means of communication.  Essential staff will continue to report to campus as needed under the direction of their departments supervisor while adhering to the social distancing guidelines as provided by the CDC (6 ft).
