**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent to join our team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and execution to completion. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

**Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Manage and mentor on-site personnel, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure the highest level of productivity and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize project performance.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material/equipment inventory.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all personnel.

- This job role will be a temporary summer internship based in Manhattan, KS.

Qualifications


- Commercial Construction experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, techniques, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

- Computer proficiency and the ability to utilize or learn Procore. 
- OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications/licenses are a plus.
