For more details about specific certification exams, please contact the respective provider directly.
ASE, is short for the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. Since 1972 our independent non-profit organization has worked to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying automotive professionals.
ASE promotes excellence in vehicle repair, service and parts distribution. Almost 300,000 Automotive Technicians and Service Professionals hold ASE Certifications. ASE Certified Professionals work in every part of the automotive service industry. ASE certifies automotive technicians and service professionals, not the auto shops.
The ASE tests are administered by appointment. Candidates need to call 785-320-4406, in advance, to schedule a testing time. In order to schedule an appointment, candidates need to have their ASE ID# and name of exam (example: Code: A1 Engine Repair ASE-0000-0000). PRAXIS Series Testing
Educational Testing Service (ETS) offers the Praxis Series assessments, which states use as part of their teacher licensure and certification process. The Praxis I tests measure basic academic skills, and the Praxis II tests measure general and subject-specific knowledge and teaching skills.
The PRAXIS Series exams are offered through Internet-based testing. We currently provides test information and administers the PRAXIS Series tests in both formats.
