Certified Nurse Assistant

The course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic health care services in the role of nurse assistant under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse. This course follows the curriculum requirements of the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, the student is eligible to take the Kansas CNA certification examination. Persons planning entry to a variety of health care careers find this course valuable for developing basic nursing care skills.
