Automotive Technology Program Orientation

Check-In: 8:45 – 9:30 A.M. (Commons) Registration Agreement, PIU, and Parking Passes

  • Upon checking-in, students will need to verify that they know their login credentials as a registration agreement and personal information update form will be completed on MATC Online prior to enrollment for fall semester. In addition, students will have their photos taken for their student IDs.
  • Auto Tech students, be sure to bring your driver’s license, as we will take a photocopy.
  • Students will need to know their make, model, color, and license plate of the vehicle they will drive on campus to receive their parking pass.

Student Services, Financial Aid, Business Office, TLC and Accommodation/Safety Presentations

9:30 – 10:30 A.M.

  • The presentation will be given in the Advanced Technology Center, Building 400 from multiple offices in order to assist students in navigating the resources available at Manhattan Tech.

Automotive Technology Program Orientation: 10:30 A.M. ~ 11:30 A.M.

  • Automotive Technology Program orientation with faculty in main building Room 201
    • Auto Tech Students will be sized for their program shirts during this time.

*Break for lunch on your own 11:30 A.M. -12:30 P.M.- Be back on campus by 12:40 P.M. at the latest.

ACCUPLACER Testing – 12:45 P.M. ~ 3:00 P.M. (Teaching and Learning Center)

  • You will need your driver’s license ID or new Student ID for check-in at the TLC

Enrollment – After you complete your ACCUPLACER Test (If you have previously completed your ACCUPLACER test, your enrollment will begin BEFORE LUNCH)

  • Meet with Academic Advisor to enroll in your classes.
    • Upon completion of enrollment, students will be able to see their schedule on MATC Online.

Financial Aid Appointments (scheduled online by appointment)

*If you’ve already taken an Accuplacer test at MATC, you will meet with an academic advisor to enroll in your classes during the lunch break. After this meeting, you will be done for the day.

If you have completed a college-level English Composition course and a college-level Intermediate or College Algebra course (or Technical Mathematics I or II at MATC) with a grade of C or higher, and have sent your official college transcripts to Registrar@manhattantech.edu, you will also meet with an academic advisor to enroll in your classes during the lunch break. After this meeting, you will be done for the day.
