What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the management of the health and wellness center which includes medical care for students and children, sick call, infirmary coverage, environmental health and physical examinations, in compliance with with government and management directives.


 

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
Three (3) years related experience with two (2) of which should be supervisory experience.
Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred.
A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Job Responsibilities

Essential functions:

Manage and conduct coordinated health care for students and implementation of other health related programs, including medical, oral health, mental health, and substance abuse services. Assure chronic care management of all students with chronic illnesses.
Provides and monitors basic health care services, emergency care services, and case management of students.
Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.
Screen all medical patients for center physician, vocational rehabilitation and follow up medical care.
Manage the record keeping and reports on injuries, diseases and disabilities of students.
Provide direction and technical services in the operation of the pregnancy, mental health, and other health related special programs.

Salary/Pay

Salary - $75,000 annually
