This position is essential to the Human Resource Information System processes and reporting that impact payroll and employee HR data. Particularly, this position significantly impacts the bi-weekly on-cycle payroll and off-cycle processing which are considered a mission critical function to the University. It provides system table configuration as required. It serves as the HR steward in providing the appropriate level of security for end users and serves as a point of contact for any system errors. Also, this position is the system administrator for the document imaging system, ImageNow. This position plans, staffs and directs the work of employees imaging and linking documents that come to HR for processing (i.e., hires, rehires, salary changes, position updates, payroll transfers, etc. )In addition, this position is the system administrator for the University’s current Content Management system, Perceptive Content (ImageNow). This includes maintaining the system that is critical to the Employee’s official KSU personnel file. All changes to an employee’s job history are made utilizing Perceptive content, and this position is responsible for managing the documentation and the system routing rules to meet the criteria to get employee’s data entered in an effective and efficient manner, which allows the bi-weekly payroll to run according to the State’s requirements.

This position is Hybrid eligible. This position requires on-site attendance during the first week of employment. After this, the employee is expected to be on site for 2-3 days per week.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
