Job Purpose:

The Leasing Consultant will show and lease apartments to prospective residents and assist with renewals for current residents.

Qualifications:

Skills/Qualifications:

• College degree preferred
• Leasing, real estate, sales, or retail experience a plus
• Leasing Professional must be a team player with a positive outgoing personality and strong commitment to employer.
• Professional manner, honest character and work at fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and show property to prospective residents.
• Answer internet and telephone inquiries about the property.
• Participate in a follow up program to maintain timely and effective communication with prospects.
• Coordinate and prepare communications to residents, including any necessary to target residents throughout their lease period.
• Complete all lease paperwork, including related addendums.
• Maintain and supervise a lease renewal program following the property and management company guidelines and goals.
• Update daily reports on occupancy and provide information to Community Manager.
• Assist with the market outreach program in the community.
• To know and adhere to all federal, state and local laws, as well as all policies and procedures contained in the manuals issued by the property management company or as otherwise communicated (verbally or in writing) to on-site employees.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, most Saturdays required on a rotating schedule 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Salary/Pay

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
