Job Description

  • Position Summary:
    • Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, efficient patient care to assigned patients. Performs as a positive member of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
  • Minimum Experience
    • Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
  • Required Registration/License/Certification
    • Current Kansas LPN license
    • Intravenous (IV) certification
    • Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
