• Job Title: LPN – Charge Nurse
• Supervise, coordinate, and provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies; assess residents’ needs and take appropriate action
• Demonstrate dependability, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability while providing compassionate, high-quality care. 

 

Qualifications:

• Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Kansas LPN license
• Passion for caring for the elderly
• Adheres to facility policies and procedures
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver and oversee resident care, including medications, treatments, and assessments
• Supervise and support Nursing Assistants and other staff; assign duties based on qualifications and resident needs
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, residents, and families regarding care and changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and incident reporting
• Respond to emergencies and ensure resident safety and rights at all times
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Monitor staffing levels and participate in staff development, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
• Uphold infection control, safety standards, and professional conduct
• Participate in meetings, in-services, and continuing education
