Question Does Manhattan Tech require the ACT/SAT exam before I can be admitted? Answer We do not need these scores for admission. We can use your ACT scores for placement in your math and writing courses if you have already taken one of those assessments, however, you are not required to complete the ACT or SAT. The majority of our programs do require you to take a ACCUPLACER test. These scores are not used for admission, but for placement in math or English courses. Manhattan Tech offers the ACCUPLACER test on-site at no cost. We must have scores on file in order to enroll you in those courses.
