His academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Oklahoma State University, where his desire to comprehend societal intricacies began. Deepening his focus, Neil pursued a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development at Kansas State University, immersing himself in guiding and nurturing student potential.
With a career of over 15 years, Neil has held various roles within four-year and two-year institutions. His tenure at Manhattan Area Technical College spans nine years, initially serving as the Director of Admissions before transitioning to the role of Dean of Student Services. In this capacity, he works to spearheads initiatives to cultivate an inclusive campus where students excel academically and thrive personally. In addition to his professional endeavors, he remains an active member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA).
