Job Overview
Atkinson Doors & Hardware is looking to hire a welder for a full-time position. Atkinson Doors and Hardware is a commercial door/hardware, overhead and garage door business. 

Duties

  • Welding hollow metal frames and modifying hollow metal doors for application of hardware.
  • Modifying slab wood doors for application of hardware and glass windows.
  • Loading delivery trucks with finished frames, doors and hardware.
  • Driving a forklift Delivery of material to jobsite, pick up freight
  • Responsible for organizing and storage of materials
  • Occasionally assisting installers in the field

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Requirements

  • Must be 18+
  • Clean/acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred - minimal previous welding experience.
  •  Ability to understand architectural elevations and schematics.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs
