Rave Alert

Using Rave Alert™, Manhattan Tech can disseminate timely notifications to thousands of users via multiple communication channels including mobile text alerts and email.  The system can distribute an alert to the entire campus community in the case of an emergency, or on a targeted basis such as to inhabitants of specific buildings, students enrolled in specific courses, and more.  We realize that students are living an increasingly mobile lifestyle and Rave Alert puts us in the best possible position to send emergency communications to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, regardless of where everyone is at the time. The safety of our students, staff, and faculty is one of our foremost concerns and we hope that this will allow us to increase the level of safety across the campus.

All Manhattan Tech students, faculty, and staff will be enrolled initially however the Alert system is voluntary and you are able to opt-out of all or part of the service. If you wish to opt-out of the service, please contact Student Services. We do hope that you will take advantage of the Alert program and help us to continually enhance the safety of the Manhattan Tech community. There is no cost to the student however standard text message rates may apply. Alerts from Manhattan Tech will be minimal and typically only in the case of closings, cancellations, severe weather, and other instances where safety is affected.  If you are not a student and would like to receive MATC RAVE notifications you can sign up here.
