MANHATTAN — The Advancing Biosecurity, Biodefense, and Biomanufacturing Technologies project has been awarded $1 million from the U.S. National Science Foundation's Regional Innovation Engines, or NSF Engines, program. Manhattan Area Technical College wishes to announce that it will host a site visit for continuing accreditation of its ADN nursing program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

Manhattan, KS, April 21, 2022 – Manhattan Area Technical College hosted its spring Open House event on April 21, which welcomed over 500 grade school and adult learners.

The Open House event was open to prospective students, their families, and the community and featured students from nine programs as they displayed their skills to showcase what they have learned over the last year as MATC students.

The event also included campus tours, faculty presentations, and onsite staff who were available to answer questions and help students apply to the college.

Manhattan, KS, April 14, 2022 – In conjunction with other leading schools from across the nation, Manhattan Area Technical College (MATC) held its third annual NC3 National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day on April 14. The college also awarded five scholarships at the event to go toward tuition and books.

Manhattan Area Technical College is excited to be a part of Manhattan's drive to bring Scorpius BioManufacturing to the area.

We have the programs to help people learn and demonstrate the skills necessary for bio-manufacturing and facilities maintenance in a high containment environment.
