Fall 2020 Commencement Cancellation - Posted 11/19

Author: Manhattan Tech

Greetings Manhattan Tech Community:

As the coronavirus pandemic continues, data trends for our county and state are concerning. Given that the health and safety of our graduates, faculty, and staff are of the utmost concern, Manhattan Tech’s leadership will cancel the streamed/in-person ceremony for graduates on December 11.

We know this news is disappointing and regret that this public health crisis has forced us to postpone all in-person celebrations of our 2020 graduates and their achievements. We understand that commencement ceremonies are a major milestone in the lives of our graduates and the loved ones who have supported them on their educational journey. Manhattan Tech is exploring options for nursing pinning as well as providing a recognition video honoring our 2020 graduates. More information will be provided in early December.

If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that adaptability is the greatest of skills.

We hope to provide an in-person commencement ceremony as soon as public health conditions allow. We look forward to celebrating your achievements in a formal setting. Although Manhattan Tech will not hold an in-person graduation celebration until Spring 2021 at the earliest, degrees will continue to be conferred as students complete their studies. More information about our Spring 2021 commencement will be released in the new year.
