Qualifying Conditions

All students are welcome to meet with an accommodation staff member to discuss potential accommodation needs. The College takes a highly individualized approach to determining accommodations. Examples of conditions that may warrant accommodation include:

  • Learning disabilities
  • ADHD/ADD
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Psychological/psychiatric conditions
  • Chronic medical conditions
  • Visual impairment or blindness
  • Auditory impairment or deafness
  • Mobility or orthopedic conditions
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Temporary conditions (e.g. injury, surgery recovery, concussion)
  • Medical complications related to pregnancy

This list is not comprehensive. If you have one of these or other conditions, we recommend that you contact our office to discuss options for accommodations and other supportive resources.

Accommodations for Temporary Conditions

Students who have a temporary condition that significantly impacts their ability to participate in The College's programs are welcome to engage in the accommodations process to request accommodations on a temporary basis. If the condition persists or develops into an ongoing disability, the student may provide updated medical documentation in support of the ongoing use of accommodations.
