Construction Technology BILT Winners

Congratulations construction technology students John Leadabrand, Cordell Niswanger, and Sawyer Eland. All three won tool kits donated by program’s BILT (Building and Industry Leadership Team) committee, consisting of Hi-Tech Interiors, BHS, McCown Gordan, KBS, Manko, FABA, Habitat for Humanity, and NCCER.  Each where in the top ten of their class in grades and performance. Construction Technology not only educates and trains individuals in construction, but also creates leaders in the field.

Dear Students:

The priority during this unprecedented global pandemic is the health and safety of our Manhattan Area Technical College family. With that in mind, the decision has been made to cancel May 2020 Commencement Ceremonies.

You have worked hard to obtain your degree and we couldn't be any prouder of the Class of 2020 for your achievements in and outside of the classroom. We understand your disappointment, but we want to do everything we can to recognize you for your accomplishments.

Online Instruction to Begin March 30 - Posted 3/23

Attention MATC Students:

At Manhattan Tech the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff is our highest priority. Therefore, based upon federal, local, and state mandates we are announcing the following precautionary measures:

  1. Manhattan Tech will be closed to students, visitors and the public until April 6th.
  2. All courses will move to online instruction beginning March 30th (Refer to Continuation of Instruction section for more information).

Continuation of College Closure - Posted 3/18

Attention MATC Students:

As the concerns around COVID-19 continue, MATC administration is being very diligent in communicating with Riley County Health Department and following directives and recommendations from governmental authorities. In doing so, MATC has made the determination to extend closure of the college through March 27th and resume limited number of operations on March 30th.  The most up-to-date information will continue to be communicated out on our website at manhattantech.edu and RAVE Alert.

Spring On-Campus Event Cancellations/Updates - Posted 3/18

Due to the ever-evolving challenge of the COVID-19 coronavirus and per CDC recommendations, Manhattan Tech is cancelling all large-scale events on campus for attendance greater than 50. Events that are smaller than 50 participants will be reviewed and may continue assuming that proper social distancing guidelines can be implemented.
