2024-2025 Unusual Enrollment History

Students that have received Federal Pell Grant funds or Federal Direct Loan funds at two or more institutions during the review period must submit academic transcripts for the institutions attended during the review period and the Unusual Enrollment History form.

2024-2025 Professional Judgement Request

This form may be submitted if a significant change has occurred to the student’s and/or parent’s financial situation from the previous year. After a student submits this form and the required documentation, the financial aid office will determine if an adjustment to the student’s aid eligibility can be made.

2024-2025 Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal

This form is necessary for students who did not meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements and have lost their financial aid eligibility. Please submit this form and any additional required documentation to the financial aid office.

2024-2025 Parent PLUS Loan Release Form

This form allows the proceeds from a Parent PLUS loan to be used to pay institutional charges as well as non-institutional charges.  If the loan is more than sufficient to pay the student's balance, a credit balance refund will be issued to the student.

Elementary Statistics

Elementary Statistics is an introductory study of the fundamentals of modern statistics and probability. The main topics covered include descriptive methods, inductive statistics, probability, estimation and tests of hypotheses, along with other topics as time allows.

Prerequisites: Meet Placement Guidelines OR MAT 109 with a grade of “C” or better OR MAT 110 with a grade of “C” or better.

Nutrition--KRSN HSC1010

This course provides students with an understanding of the basic nutritional principles that can affect everyday lifestyles. Topics to be covered include: food selection, macronutrients and micronutrients and their function within the body, digestion and absorption of nutrients, energy balance, and water and electrolyte balance. Possible topics to be covered include: use and function of supplements, alcohol metabolism, food safety, sports nutrition, eating disorders, pregnancy and nutritional concerns, and geriatric nutrition.

Clinical Internship for MLT

This course will offer students one-on-one work experience with clinical instructors to refine clinical laboratory skills within a designated clinical affiliate laboratory. This clinical internship will include a minimum of 440 hours of clinical experience. This course will integrate knowledge gained in all MLT courses with practical experience in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, immunohematology, microbiology, urinalysis, and serology.

Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of all courses in the Medical Laboratory Program.
