The Riley County Health Department (RCHD) and Governor Laura Kelly issued Stay-At-Home Orders to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Effective at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, March 29, Manhattan Area Technical College will be adhering to the emergency guidelines in keeping with the issued orders:

  1. The Campus is closed until further notice and instruction will be completed online beginning March 30 until further notice. Please watch your email for information from your instructors regarding delivery of your coursework.
  2. Beginning March 30 college employees will work remotely. Essential staff will continue to report to campus as needed under the direction of their departments supervisor while adhering to the social distancing guidelines as provided by the CDC (6 ft). More details about working remotely will be provided by your department’s supervisor.
  3. While the campuses are closed, we will still be working on continuing to provide student and community resources remotely (i.e. advising, admission appointments, financial aid, etc.). Updates will be provided.

We will continually monitor and assess the situation and provide updates as warranted. Please continue to regularly check your Manhattan Tech email, RAVE Alert, and the College’s website for the most up to date information and guidance. The health and safety of our students, employees, and community members continues to be, and will always be, our top priority.
